Adoptable Pets

All our pets have already been spayed or neutered, are fully up-to-date with vaccinations, and have received all necessary veterinary care such as worming and flea control.

The fee for dogs and puppies ranges from $150 to $300. Adult and larger dogs are $100. Senior dogs are $40. Cats and kittens are $50. We may occasionally help rehome other domestic animals, for which the fees depend on costs incurred in making them healthy and ready for a new home. Out-of-state adoptions are gladly accommodated but require a health certificate issued by a vet to authorize interstate travel for $25.

While we know every pet is precious, we also know that some are more in demand than others. Our fees reflect this, and are set as they are in the hope that each and every one of the pets in our organization receives the best care we can afford to give and may find a wonderful permanent home. Highly sought-after dogs have higher adoption fees, but these fees partially subsidize the costs of caring for less immediately adoptable dogs who would otherwise meet their fate in the local pound, or animals who come into our care needing veterinary care.

Our animals' news and stories are now on our facebook page.
